Military Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA)
Are you military personnel traveling under orders? You may qualify for a Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) which provides reimbursement of lodging expenses and exemption from the Transient Accommodations Tax (currently 10.25%). In addition, the resort charge is not applicable for military personnel traveling on TLA. The traveling party must provide TLA orders, but then you can sit back, relax, and soak up your sweet temporary set-up.
